Roman Sunday

Caesar went out from his home, in ancient city in Roman empire when still principal language was Latin, broad ways and horsemen, Roman sword to side, this is gladius, Caesar not was a soldier but he go for the city always with armies, in conformity with Roman costume, he went in temple of Minerva, Jove and other gods; after he went to bakery and butcher, and he went back to home, but went out soon because an appointment calls him; in fact Caesar on street gone outskirts and there seen his friend with he had drunk in inn, very poor but for the two friends it was very rich,  because at that inn were connected very much memories, above all Flavia for Caesar and Diana for his friend Livius, by now alone beautiful memories because in conformity with Roman costume marry was very soon and divorce as much soon; in fact in ancient Rome it was very easy marry, was sufficient to know a woman and one can consider married, but for divorce as much easy; thereafter at evening you were single and to dinner were married; Caesar and his friend were divorced, their wife were gone away; and in inn the two friend remembered when during their army service they had fought against Gaul and British with Caesar, and every fight was always a tale for them, with richness of particulars that were always same memories, but on the two friends laugh again, amusing episodes but also dangerous that two friends  lived still with emotive participation because they had lived, and they remembered above all a night fight that they fought when they were in army of Pompeo, and other episodes very important for ancient history; but Caesar remembered above all the sacrifice of Gaio Mucio, better known as Muzio Scevola, who during siege of Etrurian, when Gaio Mucio tried to kill Porsenna, king of Etrurian, and after that he failed, he went in crowd of enemies with knife bloodied and he said: “I am Roman citizen and my name is Gaio Mucio, as enemy I have tried to kill an enemy, and now I will confront death with same courage, a Roman can gives death and can confront it with courageous soul” and Caesar continued with his tale: “Gaio Mucio wanted demonstrated how much very lower was the body for a Roman soldier in confront of glory, and he putted his hand on fire, and then Porsenna jumped on the chair and he was believing that it was alone prodigious and he said: “You have been enemy more for yourself than me. I would that your value was for my country, and I would applaud it, but it isn’t therefore I want that are free”; this episode as much others move Roman soul of two friends, and between wine and girls they passed day, that then was till afternoon late; therefore, Caesar and his friend took again their horse and went back home. Day after Caesar got up and dressed with tunic and he dressed sandal and went out from home, but out he goggle eyes because he had saw enormous building that he never saw; so much persons who walked with strange tools to ear and that spoke strange language, but Caesar with Roman soul not was discouraged and he stopped a woman and he asked: “Ubi simus femina?” (Where do we are, woman?), and woman was very astonished both for dress and for language, and she answered: “What? I don’t understand. What do you want?”, Caesar looked around and he asked again: “Qualis locum est istum, Roma or Atenes, quare istae insulae sunt magnae? Fosne vivet in illa imperator?” (How city is this, Rome, or Athens, why these building is so big? It is residence of Imperator?), and he looked woman, who not understood, and she tough that Caesar was crazy, therefore she went away. Caesar was very astonished and looked around for understand, strange horse that ran but without horseman and they was cover and of strange metal and they have strange sound, Caesar was devastated, and he turned and wanted go back to home, but it is disappeared and one skyscraper was, Caesar was more devastated than before, but he fell a hand on his shoulder and a voice that called him: “Caesar, quare miratus est?”(Caesar, why do you are so astonished), at these words Caesar turns soon and look attentively eyes of man who  had spoken, and he recognized soon his friend, and in fact: “Livio, tu es Livio companes meus, felicissimus sum quare video te in isto magno pago, ubi simus, Livio?”(Livy and you are Livy my companion, I am very happy because I look you in this great village, but where do we are, Livy?) and Livy while looked Caesar: “You are in Neo Eborensin, it is a city that you not know because haven’t visited, I am here by some years, and you now go with me, I will visit this city”. After then years Caesar was in park and he was looking with attention a man who wandered for park, Cesar stood up and approached to him and asked: “Qualis est nomen tuum?” (What is your name?”).
