The French revolution and origin of hegelian left

The French revolution has taught certainly that the full liberty is possible, because the dictatorship that we can, with very much fantasy, was not existent, and alone moral respect and economic causes has determined this revolution; but the causes isn’t motive to this essay, because I want see the cause of born of hegelian left; this is the contrast to ideological think of Hegel. The origin is the French revolution because the official founder Heinrich Heine(1797-1856) of this polemical philosophical current , the first is a poet, and second he has involved from revolutionary wet of French, and he is very ideological inclined to a revolution like the French, above all because he lived in Prussia, where the State is very strong, thereupon the psychological reaction equated, so the State and son so the essays about Napoleon and revolution; but he is also a pragmatic person because he has used words that are moderate in confront to following: “The reality is today, the word aristocratic, I don’t think to nobility of born, but everybody that live to on back of people…the exploitation of man on man overcome every declamation regard privilege of born.” This discourse is very revolutionary, and in Prussia he has written, but if in Prussia was a dictatorship State, he should have been in jail, but it seems that he was free and he also come to French where written to a journal De l’Allemagne, in 1834. We must also consider that Heine was Lutheran, and doctrine of Luther ordered the free interpretation of Holy Bible, and Heine written this trial: “Luther set that his doctrine must be discussed and confuted through the Holy Bible or rationality, Luther seen to human intelligence the right to explain the Holy Bible, and the mind was appealed as judge…”; Luther given the freedom of interpretation, certainly to political causes, because the Roman Church imposed his interpretation; thereby Heine lived in country of religious liberty, and he fairly wanted this liberty also political; but I repeat he isn’t die in jail to his essays, he is died through to shooting to betrayed. Certainly he has given motive and example to found the hegelian left, but origin of this contrast is alone politic and ideological, and it is born from French revolution, thereupon the philosophical difference isn’t, because Hein was very deeply hegelian culturally.

Personal phylosophy

We are wont usually think that a philosophical think is a learn to other, and a book with title Deep history and the brain of Daniel Lord Smail, should induce us to consider that also the philosophy is a personal think that come from personal conditions, and the think certainly influenced, it is enough consider the influence of Aristoteles during much centuries; but the philosophical speculation of Aristoteles is come from personal qualities that his followers and pupils didn’t have; in fact commentators of works of stagirita, this is from Stagira, actual Olympiada, in Macedonia, is Alexander from Afrodisia, that is and rest alone a descriptor of works of Aristoteles; he is a Aristotelian scholar, but he is very limited to his comments to Aristoteles works; in fact he describes alone and a comment to think of master isn’t, why? Because he hasn’t had the intellectual possibility of Aristoteles; to Socrates same dynamic; in fact every his pupils, more famous is Plato, has followed the think of master; he during process said that the pupils interrogated the citizens and imitated him, but in history of philosophy nobody has followed Socrates and his think, why? Because nobody has had qualities of Socrates, his intelligence and his rational and speculative capacity; thereby also the philosophy is a building very deep, from personal conditions, fantasies and intuitions that come from personal qualities. The intuition of Democritus and Leucippus about the smaller piece of matter, this is atom, is today valid but nobody has followed them, the think of these two philosophers is very important after centuries, but then nobody has considered their intuition, why? Because nobody has qualities of Leucippus and Democritus, and thereupon nobody has developed this think, why? Because nobody has had qualities of these philosophers, and when somebody has followed the think of a philosopher has personalized this think, a clear example is same Aristoteles, that has been pupil of Plato, but his philosophical think is very different from Plato, radically different; it is sign of intelligence no certainly common, but pupils of Plato and Aristoteles had not same intelligence, thereupon they have commented or alone read the works of these philosophers, thereby the passion and interest to philosophy was evidently scarce or nothing and their intelligence may very superficial. The philosophy is human and deep built of human kind.

Classical Tolkien

In the classical Ronald Reul Tolkien(1892-1973) isn’t reference to the fairy tables that he has took from his mother, but classical affinity that evidently he has  interpreted in his literary works, the first is the myth of Arcadia, when in the Lord of rings, he describes the Hobbit seems minded to Arcadia myth: “regard to Hobbit in the county, they were, during peace and wealth, a people very happy, they wear with colors lively cloth, and they preferred the yellow and green and the haven’t shoes, because their feet were cover to hair…thereupon the unique work was the fabrication of shoes, to historical art men is automatic the reference to Giovan Francesco Barbieri called the Guercino(1591-1666), Italian painter that painted In Arcadian ego(Fig.1), this is the death is also in Arcadian, thereby this magic town isn’t alone illusion, because my sickle is also here; likewise are illusions the poetical idylls of Theocritus(315 b.Ch-260 b.Ch.), whose works are very fragmentary, but very meaningful to this myth: when Tirsi said “It is suave the whisper of the pine that rustles to source, but it is suave also your song from rods. You are going to have the second premium after Pan…The kinship that joins to Hobbit is evident and more stringent than that joins to elves or dwarves…”; therefore other reference to ancient literature is in the following words: “The love to study is very scarn diffused but some member of ancient families that studied the books of family and together chronicle about past times and about longer towns…”, it is evident that in Ancient Greece Homer was also read, as today, and a legendary past time, as Troy war, was present; as the idylls of Theocritus that is referred to uncertain and fantastic  times. Other matter is the long march: “To their chronicles…and even the older legends are from epoch of the Long March…”, we can think that this step is took directly from Thucydides because he has told about the march of Doric people from north to Greek with Heraclids, descendent from Hercules; this dynamic people is very specular to the march of migration toward Greek, that alone Thucydides told. The physic of Sturoi is robust and lower; the Doric people because they must be clever in fights they were trained with physical exercise; Tolkien gone in Italy three times and he, during his voyage could see some  Roman ancient sculpture, and he could take the figure of Sturoi from the sculpture of Tetrarchs, sculpture high alone 4,36 feet; herself said that the Italy has given much suggest to his works, therefore he has took from imagines and history ancient and modern, because the name of Bilbo has given, may, the name to Bilbo Beggins, personage of Lord of rings, but the Bilbo was also the sword that used the Hispanic soldiers during end of 16th century, and the lands that were joined in years 1462: "The land of Buck and the occidental borders that were in to the County in 1462", this is indirect reference to discovery of American continent, in 1492. This is a step philosophical step of Epicurus that through the ataraxia has took the distance from common desire of wealth and extreme pleasure, this is interior equilibrium necessary to life; and other reference to ancient Greek is this step: “The Hobbit attributed to ancient king every right laws and the followed it because the rules ancient and right”; it is Sparta, rival city of Athens that attributed to Lycurgus every laws of city and the military order. I think that Tolkien has took much sources, he has joined it and other is literature, to mention Boudlaire.

Historic campanilism: Florence caput mundi

During the read of Giovanni Villani(1280-1348), the Story is very exaltation of virtus and courage and strategy skills of citizens of Florence; in fact in year 1117, the citizen of Pisa sailed against Mayorca asked to Florence to protect Pisa, and Florentine citizens made it, and they hanged a citizen that was come in Pisa after the prohibition; this episode may is true, but it is very incredible because Villani is born after 163 years after this moment, and this episode I think that nobody could told to John, that begun his Chronicle from 1307, thereby 190 years after this episode. In 1125 Florence conquered a city this is Fiesole, and in opinion of Villani more strong, this is deserve of Florentine citizens, because it is necessary to exalt to value of citizens, and belittle the citizens of Fiesole because after this compliment, evidently Villani didn’t recognize the contradiction, because he has said and judged Fiesole as a city of brigands and bad people; but whether Fiesole has chiefs bandits Fiesole could not so strong, because the bandits could have sold it to Florence; thereupon it is a told very approximately and tending to exaltation of Florentines and after destroyed it. Exaltation continues with measure of Florence; so what? Nothing certainly but in exaltation of Florence also the measures are valid motive; it is evident also for the narration of humiliation that Roger Borsa duke of Puglia(1060-1111) that to have the reign come to pope Onorio 3th and there he was humiliated with foot on the head, true gesture of submission; thereby about of a king told humiliating condition, but Florence has saved the word with heroic deeds. May this episode told from Villani was famous too because same historical man could hide; in fact he played one part tells the failed of Florentine and other he tells the victory and destruction: “In 1146 the Florentine had war to earl Guidi…and the earl Guide fight and defeated them…but after in 1154 they come back to Montedicroce and to betrayed they conquered it and destroyed it…”. Thereupon we can read a partial history that is very similar at last to wit to Giorgio Vasari(1511-1574), that is similar for the partial adherence to partial preference; in fact in the Lives he exalts the Michelangelo and the Florentine school and the Tuscan artist, but other are considered summary and the artistic schools of Italy are short considered.

Villani: historical legend

The historian Giovanni Villani(1280-1348), was a historian from Florence, and he has told about Florence, and Italy, with usually fantasy; he has took that historian before has told and he certainly didn’t accurate searches about Florence and Italy, and it is normal to ancient historians, during middle age above all, but he confused Baduila, better known with name of Totila(516?-552) king of Ostrogoths during the war Greek Gothic, in Italy, with Attila, king of Unnis from(434-453), in fact Villani told about meet with Saint Leone 10th pope, and he hinted to conquest of Spain, where neither Attila neither Totila are come, in fact Attila after the meet with the pope after mentioned come back, but alone because he had few men and he didn’t known how much soldiers has had Rome; thereupon he makes the first error. The second error of Villani, Attila was defeated by Roman and Visigoths people in 451 a.Ch., near Chalons en Champagne, and the Roman general Ezio(a.Ch.390-454). Second error of Villani about the round table, that invented the born of witchcraft Merlin and confused the year 470 a.Ch, with 12th century, when is born the legend of these knights, by the way this table was round so that nobody was chief, because the more important man was in table of the table; evidently Villani has had some eco about the Chretien de Troyes(1135-1190) and his romance and he has took these legends, enclose witchcraft Merlin, and he has tough that it is history; then it was very difficult distinction between history and legend, it is ancient tradition from Greece and Rome, often what was heard was history; a clear example is Uther Pendragon father of king Arthur, likewise legendary figure, that was descendent of Enea, a poetical figure of Virgil in Aeneid, metical founder of Rome. The name of king Edevancer is absolutely stranger from history, and other very amusing legends that today are laughable but then were very credible. Theodoric king of Goths didn’t kill nobody pope, but he had alone contrast lively with the Church, but nobody pope died, and in opinion of Villani Theodoric killed pope John first(470-526), that was imprisoned; and we consider that during reign of Thodoric was pope Simmac(election 498-514).

Epistles to the accuse: a dinner with lover

Eva was a employee and she was partner of a study of lawyers, she lived for hers job, she was very clever, rather she was a leader of this study, she hasn’t had a boyfriend, a husband, a flirt or other that has something sentimental relationship; she seemed that the love don’t never interest, a normal day in job, she was very early riser and slept some hour, because in her opinion sleep is stole time to job. Any day she gone in office and the secretary greeted her and after some minute she knocked to door, Eva let gone in, but she didn’t spoke because was phoning, and with some gesture, indicating the table, she suggested to secretary that she could leave the mail, very much as usually; thereby the secretary got out. Eva ended phone and seen that mail, colleagues, costumers, and fees; she gather almost every emails and stayed in drawer, she looked the table and one mail was out, she intrigued took the letter and smelled the perfume from the envelope for letter emanated, she was very gratified for this olfactory surprise, and though immediately that this letter may was romantic lover; thereupon she opened and took the letter, and she read the two pages, that were full of congratulations and compliments; anonymous lover written that: “Dear love, I don’t want call you Eva, because it is very formal, and I am very near to you, at last so I fell me; I see you every day and you are always busy to your job, I see you in court, and I feel that I love you always more than other times, you are always elegant, fine, professional, and always polite, and I am fall in love every times as it is the first time that I see; you are beautiful woman, and I adore you and everything is your. She ended the letter and wanted laid in the drawer, but she retake this letter and read again the words, very romantic, that on the letter were, she read this letter five times, and after, she have to go to court, thereupon she opened the drawer, on left of hers table, and she laid this letter on twenty letter, every from the same lover and same calligraphy; hence this lover has had written other letters, and Eva read these always passionately. She in court was very brilliant because, she worked so well that the guilty was condemned and family of victim approached to Eva to compliment; this family was very rich, and after the violence to their daughter they were very gratified for this condemn; they invited her to a dinner, and Eva accepted exited; in fact she was in her room and was dressing, the doorbell sounded, she imagined whom was and opened, a woman gone in and asked very angry and looked her fixedly, Eva seen the cloth of this woman and asked: “What is Margherita, you are very angry”, she looked the wall and answered: “certainly he has written more letter to you than me, and I want know because”, and Eva answered embracing Margherita: “You think that he is in love to me, it is true?”, and Margherita answered: “Yes, I am jealous!”, thereupon Eva opened the door and cloud called: “Philip, came here”, some second after a door was opened and a man about thirty years, high and green eyes come in the room of Eva with a toy in the hand, and: “What is, I must do very soon because your nephews are waiting their father; what happened”, and Margherita, that was lawyer very famous, answered: “Why do you have written more letters to hers than me?”, Margherita was lower of Henry, and he rested the hand on knees and asked: “Because I have written those epistles, and I decide to whom and when and how much written and he more asked: “The meat do you want well cooked or no?”, Margherita and Eva gather looked and Margherita answered: “Well cooked, you know very well it, stead Eva no, it’s ok?”, and Henry answered: “Yes”, and Eva after them get out and asked: “Laura has again temperature?”, and Henry: “No but want tell to aunt Eva the last century episodes  of Paw Patrol”, and Eva, that sometimes has some spirituous joke answered: “I can call my lawyer, and the police” and they gone in the home of Henry where the six babies run to the aunts and she embraced everybody as Margherita that gone to kitchen and asked: “Can I do something?” at last you, as a very saint, because your brothers is always to job, and these six babies is very difficult”, and Margherita: “I can imagine, but write litters to a city is very demanding”.

Commercial report

The read of a description of New Netherland, this the first description of actual New York, then New Netherland of Adriaen van der Donck(1618-1655), the author describes the environment: “As we have heard, the Dutch discovered and took possession of this country in the year. In fertility, equable climate, opportunity for trade, seaports, watercourses, fisheries, weather, and wind, and whatever other commendable qualities one may care to mention, it is so similar to the Netherlands or, truth to say, generally superior to it, that for good reasons they named it New Netherland, that is, another and newfound Netherlands. Yet it is the first discovery that usually counts, and the similarity of climate or temperature mattered rather less to others. We observe that the French named their possessions in the same part of the New World Canada, or Nova Francia, solely because they took them first, for the climate or temperature is not like that of France at all. France tends to be warm rather than cold, and New France is so cold and wintry that snow commonly covers the country for four or five months on end, often four or five feet deep, so that keeping European cattle there comes very expensive. Even though the country extends no farther north than, its winter air is so thin, clear, and crisp that snow, which normally falls from late November or December, does not thaw again except through the force or the sun, usually in April. It seldom rains in winter, for the cold air is dry rather than humid, but if it does, the snow subsides somewhat and a hard crust forms on top, which makes for heavy going across country for man and beast, and it rarely melts and disappears all at once”. This is description of seasons and lands and other that is necessary to merchants and commerce; it isn’t evil, because it is necessary to float and seamen, and this description thereby has precise aims, but this town was discovered just by Giovanni da Verrazzano, in 1524, an Italian exploratory that in that year discovered the oriental coasts of north American continent and he  gone in to bay of New York; thereupon the words of van der Donck were wrong: “So New Netherland, having been first discovered by the Dutch, was thus named, also in view of that discovery.”; he certainly could not that Giovanni da Verrazzano has discovered this land, but Giovanni after mentioned didn’t give nothing description, thereby we can know today the land of Manhattan to this description.

The more Roman than American

I must according to a blessed author of a monography about Benjamin West(1738-1820), because he has valued the influence, certainly alone one hint, but a hint very important because he has valued some Italian painters, although he has excluded the sculpture, but important is that he has ascertained that: “The extant paintings from West’s Italian period show the avid if uneven appropriation of the wealth of influences surrounding him at this time. Mengs neoclassicism, the physical types and chiaroscuro of Correggio and Barocci, and Tiepolo’s compositions. The works of Raphael, Guido Reni, and Domenichino were also absorbed and became a more pervasive and lifelong influence on his style and understanding of historical painting.”( BENJAMIN WEST The Context Of His Life’s Work With Particular Attention to Paintings with Religious Subject Matter By John Dillenberger, p.18); I think that important of this citation various models that Dillenberg has counted, because he was right, to plural models, that are deeply influenced and that he has bought to London; Raphael to Athens school(Fig.1a), to person or portrait of Leonardo da Vinci has influenced the posture of Christ in the Christ blessing the child(Fig.1) and other version of this subject(Fig.2) he has took the posture from Saint Gerome of Caravaggio(Fig.2a), in Galleria Borghese, that he certainly has seen during his permanence in Rome, the posture is different certainly, but I think that he has seen and studied this painting, and he has modified this posture to his subject. The Tobias curing his father blessing(Fig.3) to old father West took the fluent beard from prophet Jeremy in Sistine chapel, and from same figure he has took also the cloth, with influence of Vincenzo Camuccini(1771-1844) and Felice Giani(1758-1823), and to The raising of Lazarus(Fig.4), he to figure on ground took and has just found the position to other figure(see Benjamin West: an American in Rome in Liceusblog ) and the Fourth rivers in Rome is very important to West because he has interpreted postures of the rivers(Figs.4a-4b) and has synthetized in this figure; to Hercules between virtues and vices(Fig.5), the posture of Hercules is directly from Hercules Farnese(Fig.6), and finally to Return of prodigal son, the posture of father is specular to Saint Longinus in Vatican of Gian Lorenzo Bernini(1598-1680). I have found alone others models to West, but most merit is of the Benjamin West, that now is major American painter, and Europe has likewise to given valid models to paint, but major honor is to himself because he has had intelligence to take it. The remembers of Rome is again present to the Saint Michael Archangel(Fig.9), that is almost speculare to same subject of Guido Reni, in the church of Saint Mary of Concezione(Fig.10); even same cloth. But our Benjamin, neoclassic painter, certainly didn't lost the Ascension of Raphael(Fig.10), tha in fact he has used to his Resurrection(Fig.11); what he has found to his Resurraction? The first is the Christ, above all the open arms(Fig.12), the light, very astonishing, and the figure bottom(Fig.13), that has almost specular to a figure of possessed of same Ascension (Fig.14), same impressive anger and dynamic posture. Stead the last supper(Fig.15) is very longe distant from West's style, the cloths are treated very wrong, it searchs the softness of West and realism of same, but result is very modest, It is possible a collaborator or English pupil, but West is distant and distinct. To the Moses showeth the brazes serpent(Fig.16), he has reference to the Christ of Universal juice, in the Sixtin chapel(Fig.17) to Moses, same posture, and same impetus, and the figure laid to ground is took from a figure of same Universal judgement(Fig.18), and Raphael certainly doesn’t lack, in fact Benjamin took the same possessed figure of Ascension(Figs.14,19), that is again used by west to a figure, at last to posture in The call of Isaia(Figs.20,21). If Raphael must not lack certainly Correggio(1489-1534), have to be present to mind of West, because to his Moses receiving the laws on mount Sinai(Fig.22); the cloudy sky is took from Antonio Allegri called Correggio, in church of Saint John Baptist in Parma(Figs.23,24); Raphael perseveres to his presence to two Ascension(Figs.25-26) and he took the female back  figure(Fig.27) of Raphael to his male figure(Fig.28)To expulsion of Adam and Eve(Figs.29-30) Benjamin has took, certainly Raphael to position of angel, certainly Correggio to clouds and to Adam and his reaction, Masaccio(1401-1428), in Brancacci chapel in church of Saint Mary of Carmine(Fig.31), in Florence. Along Noah sacrificing after the deluge(Fig.32), he took usually Raphael to posture of Noah, but interesting is posture of faithful laying down(Fig.33), because it is painted on figure of Michelangelo Merisi called Caravaggio(1571-1610)(Fig.34), figure that Caravaggio has took from Crucifixion of Saint Peter in Paolina chapel(Fig.35), in Vatican, of Michelangelo(1475-1564), it is very useful because John Dillenberger(BENJAMIN WEST, The Context Of His Life’s Work), historicalman of art, has outlined the interest of west about Michelangelo with these words: “West, like his contemporaries, was more interested in Michelangelo”; in fact the Universal judgement is again present along posture of Isaac in Abraham and Isaac(Fig.36), instead to posture of Abraham took the posture of Apollo of Belvedere(Fig.37) that was useful to posture of central figure in the painting Christ Receiving the Holy Ghost(Fig.37a) and to Peter’s First Sermon, or Inspiration, the posture of saint peter is took from ancient model(Fig.37b); to The birth of Isaac(Fig.38) Benjamin unified two moments, one very happy and second very tragic of life; in fact he has took to posture of mother of Isaac, the Death of Virgin of Caravaggio(Fig.39), the iridescent of covers is from Rubens in Rome, in church of Saint Mary in Vallicella(Fig.40); instead to posture of  The Promised Land Shown to Moses(Fig.41) west took the ancient sculpture that was in Florence from 1677, called the Grinder(Fig42), and other ancient sculpture in Ludovisi collection(Fig.43), and certainly he didn't lost the appointment with Michelangelo but now in marble kind, Benjamin has took also Moses in Saint peter in Vincoli, Rome(Fig.44).
