George Orwell: a farm in war
The Animal farm of George
Orwell is again considered a romance very fanciful about socialism Russian land
and his government, but I think that is opportune consider this romance as a
metaphor of second word war; in fact the first attack to farm is easily assimilable
to invasion of Poland at 1939 and second attack is assimilable to second attack
to Russia land by National Socialism German, we must consider that preface of
this romance was written by Orwell during 1943-1944, when by now war was ended;
and during red of romance we see that initial democracy of farm is changed and
from Animal farm, name that the animals give to their farm, it becomes Private
farm, and Napoleon, a pig, becomes leader and much orders, written on the wall
of farm, more than other ideal sentences, are transgressed with impudence and
with some change that is necessary to justify capital condemns and other. Then
this romance tells what is ideal concept and real policy; Orwell evidently has
had news around Russian land and above all, during second word war; he was also
journalist; but he tell alone that he red on journal, and around military
action. He self-confesses that some editor has had refused this book because
then was inopportune to tell about Russian land; but we must consider that Orwell
didn’t mentioned never Russian land in romance, therefore this refuse is
determined, may, by an explication that Orwell has made to editors; because is
very difficult to understand that this farm is Socialism Russian, then he has
explained better to editor what was allusion to this farm, and the attacks
against Russian then very feared. In fact date of this romance, 1944, is to end
of war and by now political contest is very different, then the end of romance
is very calm, except a quarrel for a playing card during a game of card; but
all is ended therefore calm is comes back.
